Aix-Marseille University (AMU) z Francji poszukuje instytucji partnerskich do Horyzontu 2020, w ramach konkursu Green Deal, temat (Topic): LC-GD-2-1-2020
Short description of AMU:
Aix-Marseille University (AMU) was created in 2012, resulting from the merger of the University of Provence, the University of the Mediterranean and Paul Cézanne University. It has more than 78,000 students including 10,000 international students, 7,680 faculty and staff members, 12 doctoral schools and nearly 3,300 PhD students. AMU is the coordinator of the Erasmus + European University Alliance “CIVIS”. AMU has been involved in more than 100 FP7 projects and until now 102 H2020 projects.
AMU Laboratory involved:
Institut Chimie Radicalaire: ICR gathers 8 teams and one analytical service with 4 Electron Paramagnetic Resonance machines used for the detection of radical species. CRAB team is specialized in the preparation of radical precursors, nitroxides, and radical probes as wells as their detection by EPR. CRAB has its own equipments: glassware for organic synthesis, automatic flash chromatography machines, IR and UV devices, Gas Chromatography with sampler, Mass spectrometry machine, X-band EPR machine, and 60 MHz NMR machine.
Areas of potential contribution:
Expertise are in organic synthesis and physical chemistry of radical species. EPR, NMR and kinetics of radical species. Development of new radicals species and precursors for applications in Nitroxide Mediated Polymerization, Radical Polymerization, smart materials, probes for investigation in biology and Materials sciences, development of new drugs.
